A frame for "Arkia" air-lines. Working process was similar to the "Negev ceramic" project. We got the blueprints and the inputs from the architect and went to work.
Not so long time ago i ran into some really cool 3d work (still frame) that depicted wires transforming in to the shape of an object. Inspired by that i created the above 2 works, I'm very happy with the final product- especially when I think how to make it work in animation. So after watching it i decided to try it out my self using Pflow, but still to make something more random that i can control on. Using max parameters.
These frames were made for an advertisement for "Negev ceramics" latest collection. The advertisement director used the frames to decide whether he likes the look of the set before they start to build it. The frame was built in 3ds max and rendered in Mental ray.
I found my self most enjoying the modeling process. The fact you can take a simple box and transform it to the last thing that looks like a box is one of the biggest enjoyments i have from modeling. The Audi A3 model was created back while using Max 8 and a couple of years later- we rendered it on Vray.
When the latest album of RADIOHEAD ("In rainbows") came out Aniboom made an animation contest to put people's talent and creativity to the test in creating the next RADIOHEAD. video clip. I thought i might as well try my luck, though i broke down pretty fast thanks to time constraints and work. Created using After effects cs2.
There are some frames we made for an advertisement movie for DSP group, which develops technology for phones\cellphones and more... This movie was directed by East 77 and edited by Onn Hanner (which is a good friend and one talented dude). All the visuals in the movie were made by us (Fusion-vfx). The modeling : 3ds max rendered with: Mental ray.
"Shudon-pudodon" r.i.p which was an artist forum gave me the opportunity to take place in the forum weekly challenges. This is one of the works i succeeded in entering on time. But still, when i need to get to the coloring part i get slacky..
My fetish for drawing elephants is not really something i can explain. I started drawing them back while i was in the army. After a couple of years i decided to start modeling one of the concept elephants, doing so i was hoping it will make me expand the process behind modeling, but as you can see i stopped right there...
An inside project we started working on but thanks to the lack of time we decided it's better to put it on hold for now. The modeling was done in 3ds max, and the rendering using Mental ray I wish i had something cool to tell about it ...but i don't.
These concepts are part of the first working process including the final design of the apartment that was used in most of the scenes. Some parts of the two dimensional objects in the apartment complex were created using Photoshop and the three-dimensional objects were made using 3d studio max. We've tried to keep the look of the sense two-dimensional without the need to create new backgrounds for every shot. Using Max was the ideal solution for us.
The "kreamboys" is a kids TV show divided between filmed live action actors and animation (the cartoon characters don't interact with the actors in the same frame.) the show was produced by Nickelodeon channel "shamayim Productions". We (fusion-vfx) were instrumental in contributing to the pipe line from the initial design phase until the final animation . Due to the look and feel the director was looking for we decided to use cut-out animation which also made the working process faster.
